Making a video can feel like working as a courier between ten browser tabs. The script lives here, the voiceover there, with images and subtitles somewhere else. At the end, the logo is out of date, the vertical crop has removed someone’s face and “final_definitely_final_7” is still not the final file.
We are building white-studio.io, an AI video studio with a connected production workflow. The idea comes from a simple ambition: spend less time moving files between services and more time making the video. It is a separate White Studio product, not a new name for our video production service.
Status on 2 October 2026: the application is in development. A test workspace is available; the images below show its actual interface. We are not announcing a finished public service covering generation through final rendering. The production capabilities described here are the development direction, not a claim that every feature is already available to visitors.
A video might begin with a voice note
Not everyone starts with a finished script. Sometimes there is a topic, a recorded conversation, phone footage or a long video that needs shorter versions. The project supports different starting points in its interface: a topic, an author-written script, voice, camera video and a finished video. Several input types can be combined.
The planned workflow continues through research and scripting, meaningful scenes, visuals, voice and sound, editing and review. An important design rule protects an author’s script: keep the original and require an explicit decision before rewriting it. “We improved your script a little” is not the surprise a writer wants after a month’s work.

Automatic does not have to mean unsupervised
There are three planned workflows: automatic, with approvals and manual. In the recommended approach, a person reviews the script, then the storyboard and materials, then the finished video. Manual mode allows AI assistance for a particular operation without handing over the entire project.
Consider a video for a small hotel. The team has real footage of rooms and grounds. It does not need replacing with an imaginary pool overlooking an imaginary sea. Automation should help organise the footage, prepare copy and subtitles, and produce platform-specific versions. Generated inserts belong only where appropriate and permitted. This illustrates an intended use case, not a completed client project.

A brand should survive from one video to the next
The application has a separate brand and logo area. The product plan includes persistent templates for an approved mark, colours, fonts and visual treatment. Sisters Crime is the first brand template, but the studio itself is intended for advertising, education, corporate work and independent creators.
One particularly useful principle is not regenerating the logo at every opportunity. A company already has a face. It does not need minor cosmetic surgery every twenty seconds. A new design should remain a candidate until a person explicitly selects it.

Replace one scene without starting life over
A core development goal is independent scene replacement. If one segment fails, you should not have to pay for and rebuild everything. The plan therefore includes versions, reuse of existing material and cost controls before a paid operation starts.
Output checks matter just as much: readable subtitles, framing, sound, logo placement and material provenance. The 16:9 and 9:16 versions need their own composition checks. Cropping a wide shot down the middle is easy; keeping the person in it can be harder.
What comes next
The immediate goal is a reliable, testable path from source material to a draft video, including replacement of an individual scene. A richer editor, more generation providers, short versions and publishing are staged developments. Posting to social platforms should remain a human decision.
The web application comes first. Separate iOS and Android apps are planned after testing, so describing this as an already released mobile app would be misleading. We have not announced public launch dates or pricing.
If you have a recurring video workflow you would like to simplify, tell us about it. If you need a video now, our separate AI video production service is available. Your next film does not need to wait for the application.
